Love writing about fitness? We’re looking for contributors. MariaFitness is home to a set of free fitness calculators — covering BMI, TDEE, body fat percentage, one-rep max, and heart rate zones — plus practical guides that help people actually use their numbers. If you can write genuinely useful fitness content, we’d love to hear from you.
What We Publish
Our readers come for two things: our fitness calculators and the guides that explain what to do with the results. The best pitches connect to one of our core topics:
- Calculator guides — how to use and interpret our BMI calculator, TDEE calculator, body fat percentage guide, 1RM calculator, and heart rate zone calculator.
- Weight loss & diet tips — realistic nutrition advice, calorie strategies, food guides.
- Gym & bodybuilding — training programs, technique, progressive overload.
- Running, cycling & cardio — endurance training, zone-based workouts, race prep.
- Health & lifestyle — sleep, recovery, habit building, wellness.
Before pitching, browse the blog to make sure your topic isn’t already covered — we only publish fresh angles.
Who Can Write for Us?
If you’re a fitness coach, nutritionist, health writer, blogger, or experienced lifter/runner who loves explaining things clearly, you’re welcome here. You don’t need a famous name — you need real knowledge and the ability to write like a human talking to another human. No AI-spun fluff, no rewritten press releases.
Guest Post Guidelines
To keep quality high for our readers, every submission must follow these rules:
- Original and unpublished — your article must be 100% unique, written for us, and not published anywhere else (now or later).
- Minimum 800 words — thin content doesn’t help anyone. Go deep enough to genuinely answer the reader’s question.
- Well-structured — use clear subheadings, short paragraphs, and bullet points where they help. Include a 150-character meta description with your draft.
- Accurate and referenced — fitness advice affects real health. Link to credible sources for claims, studies, and statistics.
- Clean copy — proofread before sending. Run it through Grammarly or similar; submissions full of errors go straight back.
- Images — include at least one royalty-free featured image (Pexels, Pixabay, Unsplash) with its source link. Videos welcome too.
- Internal links — add 1–2 relevant links to our existing content (for example, to one of our fitness calculators or guides).
- Links policy — up to 2 dofollow links to your own site or work, placed naturally. No link schemes, no spun anchor text.
By submitting, you give us full rights to publish and lightly edit your article (including formatting, images, and links) across our website and social channels.
What You Get in Return
- An author bio with a link back to your site or profile.
- Exposure to our growing readership — our free fitness calculators bring in steady, targeted traffic every month.
- Social promotion of your article on our channels.
How to Submit
Email your pitch or full draft to tanveerrafiqq@gmail.com with the subject line “Guest Post: [Your Topic]”. Include a 2–3 sentence outline if you’re pitching rather than sending a finished piece. One of our editors will review it within 3–5 working days — if it meets our bar, we’ll confirm a publication date. If it’s not a fit, we’ll tell you honestly rather than ghost you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept AI-written guest posts?
No. Every submission is checked, and AI-generated or heavily AI-assisted content is rejected outright. We want your expertise and your voice — that’s the whole point of a byline.
Can I write about your fitness calculators?
Absolutely — it’s one of our favorite pitch categories. Guides on how to use, interpret, or train around our BMI, TDEE, body fat, 1RM, or heart rate zone calculators do very well with our readers. Just bring a fresh angle we haven’t covered.
How many links can I include?
Two dofollow links to your own properties, placed naturally in the content, plus your author bio link. Reference links to credible sources don’t count against this limit — we encourage those.
How long until my article is published?
Review takes 3–5 working days. If accepted, we usually schedule publication within two weeks and confirm the date by email.
Can I republish my article elsewhere later?
No — we ask for exclusive rights. Your piece lives on MariaFitness permanently. You’re welcome to link to it and share it everywhere.
